# How to Lower Grok Bot Usage (Step-by-Step) Channel: Darius Gaynor Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlYhonz6Ni8 Duration: 7 min Language: English Words: 1209 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/BlYhonz6Ni8 --- [0:01] Hey, what's up? In this video, just wanted to go over Grockbot real quick, right? And how to basically keep your usage lower because I've been at about 75% of my usage uh basically per week, right? But then also seen this as well. I can't switch models. I love how Fable and Astra uh Right. Right. I wish I could use those workarounds, but I want an integration. There is a workaround, right? And I commented on this, but basically you could use just open router, right? You use open router. It has all the models, right? Just go in here. You could put Astra for example, and you could basically just copy this [0:41] and give it to Grock and tell it that you want to use Astra and put your API key in there and it would do it. That's what it's been doing for me. So you could use Open Router with uh a with uh Grockbot, right? Um that allows you to do it easily. So, if I pull up my Grockbot, you can see that um so this is Darvis. This is my chief of staff, right? So, my chief of staff is named Darvis Darius plus Jarvis from from uh Iron Man, right? So, it's my chief of staff, right? And I told my chief of staff that, you know, I just want to use [1:14] open router and I gave my API key and connected to certain ones, right? I have it connected to Dex, for example, who does my substack. So, Dex writes out my Substack. I connected it to Substack. So now my Substack is automated, right? It gives me notes to put on there and it gives me uh the post as well. So see today's post for example, this is not this is not Grock, you know, this is not Grock 4.7 we're on now. This is Claude that is using from open from open router. So and then of course it writes my blog as well. Um the images come from [1:51] Atlas cloud. So if I go to Atlas cloud. So Atlas cloud for example and I come here and then I just put in my API key for Atlas cloud right. Um and then that will automatically pull in images like this into Grogbot, right? And add it or add it on your your blog or newsletter or whatever you need images for. Um slides, carousels for Instagram, whatever you need for. So then of course I connect Jeb to it. So, I have Jev as well. Um, Jev helps make decisions of what models to use and um I prompted it out to dis disagree with me and stuff for for other projects, but um my AI [2:37] business partner project, but this is Grock, right? So, I have it for my Reddit growth strategy. I have I have plenty of things that I use Grock for and I'm only at 75% um usage for the week. How is that possible, right? How am I at 75% usage? So, the way it's possible is basically I just set it up to run from 9:00 a.m. and then um it runs for 15 minutes, 10 15 minutes and [3:02] 9:00 a.m. and then um 9:00 p.m., right? And I'm in Eastern time. I'm in Florida. 9:00 p.m. and runs 10 to 15 minutes, right? Um it only runs that time. It doesn't run all day. So, some people have Grock running all day, which is a big mistake, right? Because if you have rock running all day, your use is going to run out in a day or two, right? Or three days the most, right? So mine runs 9:00 am and 900 p p.m. Eastern and then I give it a break on the weekends. So my my team doesn't work on the weekends, right? So it only works during the week, [3:35] right? Um, and a lot of tasks it doesn't need to be at 9:00 p.m. So my miles runs at 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Um, you know, um, basically this is for signals of like, uh, my keywords, right? It literally gives me links to, for example, uh, GHL keywords for this one, right? Where I could come in, read this, and I could just comment, right? So that's just one Grockbot example gives me buyer signals of Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook X, you know, different platforms. So um that's how I keep my usage low is basically only running at certain times. You could do 1000 p.m. 11 p.m. But don't let it run all day, [4:19] right? Don't let it give you alerts all day. Don't let it message you all day. Don't let it use Gros uh LLM all day. use open router and use API connect mcps do different things so it's not relying on just gro lm llm and and um just letting it run rampid all day every day and connect jev with it you know I use jev uh as well connect jev with it will make better decisions it will it will basically help you um route things for API and MCP and um you when to use Gro's LLM for example to make the usage low so I'm at 70% 75% a week usage and I'm on [5:00] the cursor 60 plus plan and I have all these Grocks as well. Some of them I'm not using. It's like when I need it, right? Send a proposal. Well, that's after meetings, but send a proposal. Um let's say for um let's say company lookalikes, right? So, if I get a client and I need a lookalike of them, I could just go to ACE and put in their information. It'll find me a a list of company lookalikes. I don't need that to run every day, right? Uh school manager alerts me if I get a school a post, right? Um and alerts me. Website auditor if I need to audit a website. AI [5:34] visibility if I need a a report on uh my own AI visibility or clients AI visibility, I have it. GHL sub account audit report, you know, if I need it. Like for example, Jev decision. It gave me a decision in here. Whenever I need a audit report of GHL, I'll get an audit report of it. Um, you know, let's say on the pipelines or contacts, workflow issues, stuff like that, and Jeff will make the decisions and stuff. So, this is just an example of how to use Grockbot and how to keep the the usage lower, right? Um, for this and then like [6:11] um that's how to switch models for that. Um, and then Grogbot usage here, right? So like this is insane for your usage to go on every day, every, you know, every hour, right? You could keep the usage low. Use Open Router, use Atlas Cloud if you're going to make images and videos. Um, you know, you don't have to do everything Grock Rock Imagine, Grock LLM, Gro everything, run all day. You don't have to do that. You know what I'm saying? Uh, connect it to other LLMs, [6:41] use Jev. So, just wanted to share that. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
