# Meta Ad Micro Audiences Are The Future. Master them in 15 minutes. Channel: Alex Becker Business Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhLFoI3NCjY Duration: 15 min Language: English Words: 3668 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/AhLFoI3NCjY --- [0:00] So, this new ad set structure and way of targeting on Meta ads is absolutely trouncing the meta of Meta advertising. Promise we won't say meta anymore. But, currently the meta you, I lied is having big giant campaigns in your account that manage the ad set budgets and then manage all the targeting for you. Basically letting Meta's AI, we're going to keep saying it, just get used to it, manage everything for you. I'm not saying this doesn't work. A lot of big accounts do this, but what I'm seeing across the billions of dollars of ad spend that I watch come through Hyros, aka allowing me to see exactly [0:28] what's working is a very small sector of accounts are using this very weird targeting tactic that is absolutely crushing the cost to get a sale to crush to get a lead in by basically giving the Meta AI the finger and saying, "No, no, no, no, no, no. You you sit back, papi's got it." Pats it on the head, kicks it out the door. And the huge benefit to this is it works at lower ad spends because it allows you to get customers as cheap as possible using what I like to call micro targeting with your ad sets. And then, if you can actually go and keep building these micro ad sets, [0:56] it allows you to scale without your ads fatiguing. It's literally the bee's knees. And I'm going to show you how it works right now. And then when we get done with that, I'm going to show you a method that I've been using to scale it up with AI by generating endless creative that just takes our best hooks, takes our best ads, and replicates them over and over again so we don't even have to make any more ads. Ad fatigue, [1:12] just done forever. Let's get into it. All right, so look here. Like I said before, people like to run big campaigns inside their Meta ads account right now, and they run them on CBO budgets, and then they have the CBO manage the ad sets. Now, what a lot of people like to do is put all their ads inside of one ad set or have a few ad sets targeting a few different demographics and then just [1:32] stuff ads inside of them. This scales well enough. It's more optimized for e-commerce than it is for B2B and leads. And what I'm going to show you right here is also very heavily based on what Daniel Illes puts on his channel from Viral Coach. I've tweaked it a little bit to work with what we're doing, and I'm seeing the same thing across, again, billions of dollars of ad spend at Hyros, which is one of the [1:52] reasons why you should listen to me. Also the fact that I've scaled multiple businesses past eight figures a year just using ads like this. I'm kind of a sleuth for what works. And the reason why I don't like this right now is because it doesn't get you to lowest cost per customer or the lowest cost per sale, and I want that. Now, the problem before is even if we try to do this, if we try to scale this up, we couldn't scale this lower cost per sale, so it was just better to run with this. But using the new way that Andromeda's targeting right now, or not so much a [2:21] new way, but the new way that people are running this, this makes this very inefficient. And the reason why this is bad in my opinion is if we have this one giant campaign running and then we have it doing the CBO management style, if there's an audience that works really, really well at $50 a day or $100 a day, gets gets you really good leads, it's going to completely miss out on this cuz it's going to go for the things it thinks it can scale. It's always going to optimize for scale. It's never going to optimize for targeting small little audiences or splitting the ad spend correctly across [2:51] little audiences. Now, what do I mean by audiences? When you're going and creating your ads in Facebook right now, you're going to create an ad and your audience is determined by the title, the video script, what's said inside your video, and the text inside your ad, as well as a few other various things about the ad itself. These right here are primarily going to drive it. So, if I say, "Hey, if you are a SaaS company owner and you follow Alex Hormozi, if you use HubSpot," it's going to target people that use HubSpot, follow Alex [3:20] Hormozi, and are SaaS company owners. This is how you control targeting on Facebook right now. The thing you need to understand is a lot of audiences on Facebook that will get you dirt cheap leads and extremely high conversion rates are also very small. It's like, I don't know, 5,000 people max. And what you're able to do is if you can target these people directly, let's let's think [3:41] for example if I'm doing this for Hyros. If I target SaaS owners that are specializing in dental practices, extremely small. I don't have to make the world's greatest ad to convert these people. That headline alone will convert people that have SaaS products that target dentists better than anything else online, especially if I can go and get two to three hooks that convert really well and then just run those hooks over and over again. I won't have to replace my ad. The ad is just so damn targeted that I'm the only person targeting these people. This results in me, when I'm usually at scale paying like $400 per call, being able to get a [4:12] good call for $100. The problem with this is this is unscalable. And also the other problem with this is if you're running CBO campaigns and the type of campaigns that other people are running, it doesn't work too well. Because again, it's going to overlook this. Now, once I started optimizing for this, I was able to drop our cost per call from like $400 to $500 in a lot of instances down to $100 and actually still convert them [4:34] from Meta ads. And it's because of this. So, when you're running these CBO campaigns that everybody's running right now, with one big giant campaign and just a handful of ad sets, what's happening is you're never able to tap into those micro audiences cuz it's always seeking to scale. And so, if again, like I just mentioned before, if there's one ad set that it can get to $2,000 a day, it's just going to dump everything in there. Especially if you don't have tons of data coming in and flowing into it. If you have a high ticket product or you have a semi-expensive product, it's just going to get worse and worse from this point [5:03] right here. What we're instead going to do is this. We're going to have a campaign if we can spell campaign. We're going to have a campaign for each of our demographics that we're going to dive into. So, let's talk about from the High-Risk perspective since I'm running ads for High-Risk. I'm going to have ads for people in e-commerce. I'm going to have ads for people that run info [5:22] products. I'm going to have ads for people that run SaaS products. And I'm going to have ads for people that run a go and run Meta ads. And then I'm going to have micro audiences and micro hooks and micro ads for each of these. And what I can do is a lot of times a an account that works just because an ad isn't converting at scale or an ad's not scalable, doesn't mean having huge amounts of ad diversity is [5:45] going to be a bad thing in an account. So, for example, let's say that we had $2,000 a day in ad spend running, but we have it split across 100 different ads. Each with a slightly different angle or different type of hook, okay? If we have it across those ads right here, the ad fatigue alone, the fact that someone's seeing a new ad every single time they scroll through the feed in one of these audiences or a new angle or a new positioning of the ad is going to allow us to perform much better than if we just had five ads going across $2,000 a day. If we have them all optimized to a [6:15] T. All right, some of the ads might only be spending 5, 10, 15, 20 dollars per day. Again, this is about getting the most maximum return on our ad spend and being able to scale that. So, instead of going out there and adding another $3,000 a day in ad spend and trying to scale these five ads up, we can go and add another 50 different ads from different locations, different angles, different things to grow the ad account a little bit further. The other thing you need to understand about these micro audiences is so like let's say we have all the potential audience that we have on Meta for an ad. Now, if we go and [6:45] make an ad for SaaS businesses that work with dentist and we set it to 20 bucks a day, Meta knows who these people are and it's just going to serve it right to them and that's it. And there isn't a very big audience from the server to. But as soon as we kick this thing out to say $100 per day, it has to start kind of branching out and it finds people that aren't in the SaaS dentist demographic. Maybe just SaaS owners. And then if we branch out, it's going to find business owners as we get to $500 a day. And so what happens when we're [7:10] running ads like this is we're going to go out to this $500 a day right here. This is what happens when we're going and scaling. For example, we're on CVO budget and you put $5,000 a day behind a CVO campaign. What it's going to do is it's going to try and get a lot of it behind certain ads. This is where this problem comes in if you're doing this micro targeting type of strategy right here because right here we're targeting business owners or maybe just SaaS owners in general. Our ad stops being so brutally effective as we get into this $500 range right here. But it's an [7:36] absolutely sniper rifle shot to the head right here at this $20. And so what we're doing is we're building as many ad sets as we can that are sniper rifle shots to the head and just stacking them on top of each other. Okay, so that's the big thing you need to understand about this. Let me show you what I'm talking about right here. So, what we're looking at right now is the e-commerce campaign that we're running at Highrise right now. Now, in the past, these numbers right here are just phenomenal for us because we're paying like $600, $700 per call in some instances. And that works with Highrise because of the [8:04] long ARR type of that we have at Hyros. We'll routinely lock in a person spending $3, $5,000 a month with us and spend $50,000 over their first year with us and we'll pay like, I don't know, $800 for the phone call. That that works. It's great. It's handy when it all balances out. But this absolutely plummeted it. But you can see what I'm doing is I have tons and tons of ad sets spending very little. Now, first off, before we continue, if you're not running some type of server-side tracking like Hyros on your ads, I don't know what you're doing. You can see in these instances right now, the tracking [8:34] on Meta, you can see on these ones right here, is off by 30, 40, 50%. If you are running ads missing 50% of your data before you even sent AI, you are making terrible decisions and losing tons of money. You should stop doing it. On top of that, you can see as we get it up here, this is where we're actually pushing the AI data back to Meta and filling in the blanks with it, the targeting improvements you're going to see in Meta are going to drive the cost to get a customer much lower cuz the AI's going to be targeting. If you simply go and start using correct data [9:02] and pushing the correct data to AI, you're going to make about 15, 20, 30% more from your ads. For example, we did this for Tony Robbins and increased their ad ROI by nearly 50% as well as all the other big names you see flashing across the screen. You should really come and pick up Hyros cuz it's the only thing that will actually plug into your ad manager and show you the correct tracking inside your ad manager. And if for some reason you don't see an ROI in the software, you don't have to pay for it. We have a 90-day guarantee that we'll grow your ads by 15% or more or to [9:26] whatever level you're satisfied with or you do not have to pay for it. Just go Google Hyros when we get done with this, we will even set the damn thing up for you. You don't have to do anything, you'll just make more money from your ads. Now, that being said, what I'm running right here as you can see tons of little ad sets. I don't have any big swing ad sets coming in here cuz I want to target every single little angle I can. And all I'm going to do as I go through here is I'm going to then check once a week and see any ads that are [9:50] busting the $500 cost per call limit that I'm shooting for. None of those are happening right now because of how micro target these things are. It's very easy to run a profitable ad set when you're only putting $50, $20 a day into it. Now, coming back to this, you can see I do this at scale on other campaigns. I'm just going going through here and I you can see I have some that have $10 in here, I have some that have 50, I have some that have 80, and I'm going to go in and adjust things up or down if it's busting the $500 limit right here. So, I can easily see right [10:16] here based on that the high-risk reporting right here, maybe I want to go and crank this one down 100 bucks right there, and get it back into a place where it's probably going to get me calls for less than $500. And so, you can see I'm managing each ad set individually, and it's really easy to do this at scale. And the reason why this works is you might be thinking, "Well, the Facebook AI isn't controlling everything. You can only lump everything into the one ad set and have the AI run everything." It doesn't really matter when you've microtargeted the ads down. When you say, "If you're a [10:44] SaaS business owner running a software for dentists," it you don't need the AI to target for you. Or when you're running, for example, for high-risk, when I'm targeting people that run Meta ads for their e-commerce business and are doing over 20, 30,000 dollars a month, it's not a big targeting sample. I don't need the AI to target for me. The descriptions and the text in there will work just fine. And so, how do we [11:07] actually do this for your business? Well, what you want to think of is you want to think of your big audiences. All right, so let's say we're running a business and you're selling marketing software or a supplement or whatever. Who are your core users in that? Who are your mini demographics? People over 60. All right, how can we narrow it down even more? Men over 60. And then we can take a granular approach. Men over 60 who have trouble pooping. Okay? That demographic right there, if you type all that crap into your ad, you're going to hit men over 60 who have trouble pooping. There's not There's not a lot [11:35] of them, okay? Like, you don't need the AI. You don't need the AI going and finding these people for you. It's going to find them for you based on what you're putting inside the ad. You can break it down even more. Maybe they're in the sports or something, I don't know, but you could you go and make these smaller ad set targeting sample sizes, and you get very specific with the wording in your ads, and then you can easily go and run 30, 50 bucks a day in there. And because it's so laser-targeted, you're going to get those sales and those conversions much cheaper. And then you build up from [12:02] there. You build out the audiences from there by adding little bits and other $30, $50 ad sets to it slowly over time, and that's how you're able to scale up. Now, here's the final tip I'm going to give you that's working insanely well for us. So, what I like to do is I go in [12:18] and I find my winning hook. So, this is a winning hook I have right here. So, looking at this right here, one of the easiest ways to boost your ad ROI 15 to 25% literally overnight. And if you give me 5 seconds, I'll show you where in your account to do this. It takes a couple of minutes. It's pretty simple stuff. Now, what I love to do, what's working super duper well for us, is when I come over here, I'm going to find our winning ads. And then what I do is I clone them out with AI. I use my workflow that I'll I'll be sharing I'll [12:42] be sharing in the future video here in a second. It might be linked at the end of this video for you or right here. I'll link to it right here if it's up already. If you run Meta Ads, upgrading your pixel to AI swarm data is one of the easiest ways to boost your ad ROI 15 to 25% literally overnight. And clone the ad out tons and tons of different times from different AI locations, different angles, different filming situations using AI. I'm not going to reshoot any of this right here. Then what I also do, that's working incredibly well, is I'm going to take it over to AI again. And always, what I'm [13:11] going to do is I'm going to clone the same exact video to our female AI actors and other actors of other demographics so I can hit people again over and over and over again with the same ad just from tons and tons of different angles. So, if you run e-com Meta Ads right now and you're not scaling hand over foot, I want to show you how we scaled one of the largest And doing this, and again using little ad set budgets, 20, 30, 50 dollars a day, especially with these little AI ads right here. This just allows us to scale the account out while keeping the cost [13:37] to get the leads and the sales dirt cheap because every little ad is optimized just to the small amount of people that are actually going to convert from it because we're being so specific in the ad and so specific in the targeting. So, this right here is essentially how we've been running all of our ads recently for High Rise. This works super duper well in B2B and lead gen. And if you're selling anything higher ticket, anything past 200, 300 dollars, where not getting tons and tons of data coming in, this just takes all the mess away from the Facebook AI and crushes it. Though, I've seen this work [14:06] for e-commerce companies left and right because what they do is they make tons of these little micro ad sets that just target micro demographics of their audience and then they crush those because no one else is targeting those. Everybody's running up their giant scaled ad sets, where Facebook is just basically shotgunning the damn thing. And that works at scale, don't get me wrong. But if you are starting off your ad account, or you want to scale that account with the most efficient ad spend possible, you don't need AI targeting to do this. You don't need the Facebook AI to target for you. You can literally call to very specific people and keep [14:35] your ad spend so low that it only targets that micro audience. So, that's all there is to it. If you want to see how I'm actually building out all these AI ads that actually look good and sound good, and putting actors in the videos that actually have realistic voices and all that kind of hoopla. That's not just basic UGC videos, but actually look like [14:50] a professionally filmed commercial. Well, that's all going to be linked right here when I get the video up later this week. It should be live maybe right now as you're watching it. Other than that, subscribe to the channel cuz I share all good stuff about ads and whatnot. And uh I awkward ending to this [15:03] video. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
